Part-I

What is dosha/runa/badhaa/ shaapa i.e. curse?

Pitru dosha is defect of our karma in many ways towards our ancestors. If we do not do ritual karma, any punya karma for them or pay service cause inconvenience to them when live, etc. are some examples. If there is a dosha i.e. defect or fallacy then can be corrected.

Pitru Runa is indebtedness of our ancestors which we should release and when it is pending becomes part of pitru dosha. We are indebted in many ways to our ancestors as we are genetic part of them and we consume their warmth and love, their property and money. So it is our duty to release their soul thru the best punya produce for them.

Pitru Baadha is interruptions created which we experienced [sapexa]  but we could not find the cause [anirdista], this is mostly possible in case of un-time death or suicide or accidental death etc.

Pitru Shapa is a curse created for our sinful karma towards our ancestors. If this will happen one has to experience prolonged trouble inspite of remedial measures taken. But even then remedial measures are must as it will work as buffer and when time comes all good will happen as it will ease your burden of curse.

The sufferings of the departed soul may be due to own karma and sansargik karma.  In broader sense it is for PaapaKarma, Moha, Udaasinta [stoic & indifferent], retarded, anguish, bahirmukhta etc. This is the major cause of PitruDosha or Pitru Curse.

PitruDosha is caused for many reasons minor or major. But when the native do such adversities to his ancestors-father-fathers lineal that the soul of that particular live being becomes perplex and restless and as a result it is physically dead or is not able to live normally and has to suffer for its life time; then the lamented soul sighs,[निःश्र्वास] thinks and or speaks inauspicious or harmful for the native and this is PitruDosha or Shapa i.e. curse.  This will be reflected in the horoscope and the native has to suffer a lot.

If in the case of pitrudosha the birth is in amavasya or grahana the dosha / curse becomes more acute as in that case our ancestors in pitru yoni could not intake nectar-Amrita. Logical reason is that the planets involved there in become weak and give adverse result or could not give good results.

Who are our pitrus

Jataka – Native

In his life time he did good & bad karma and according to his karma he has to suffer or enjoy and un-fructified karma are stored for future or next birth

Death

Death comes when time ripe

After death Sthula Deha i.e. corporal body is vanished and micro body remains in the form of formless soul; this is Mano Deha [mind], Karana Deha [buddhi] and  Mahakarana Deha [aham -ego]

Pitru Yoni

According to Vedas and Rituals of Hindus, humans when dead, go to Pitru Yoni from there goes to various segments.

1. Segment: according to its karma soul partake the rebirth in various yonis like humans, animals etc known as Mrityu Loka; this may or may not relate to us and may or may not forming part of pitru dosha; but when related to us in fine tune is runanubandhana and when related to us causing sufferings is karmanubandhana. Both Rinanubandh and Karmabandhana are same apparently even then some difference can be foretold.
2. Segment: according to the karma the soul is enjoying the fruits of Punya  and is known as Svarga Loka.
3. Segment: according to the karma the soul is punished and is known as NarakaLoka; here the soul in trouble, in sigh remember his lineal and by doing all kinds of shraaddha karma, charities,  japa etc we produce Punya for the departed soul to help out from troubles.

This segment is very large and includes in it Pitru [fathers], Matru [ mother], bhatru [brother], matul [maternal uncle], preta [those who could not get proper place and hang in between], etc. etc. and is elaborated in BPHS curse chapter.

Part-III

Astrological mapping of the pitru dosha

Here we will deal with pitru dosha – curse only and not other type of curses. Pitru Dosha may be scattered over to all 12- houses for the significations referred to therein. Sample list is as under and professional astrologers can add as many as per their prudence and expertise as per significations of houses and its karakas.

Rule-1

See karaka of father and house of father ‘s lineal. This is fixed and it’s Sun and 10H/L as per BPHS. See the karaka and house concerned, say, Jupiter is karaka of wise man like father / forefather, Child, husband, wealth etc and if we are looking for child then concerned house is 5H & 7H; and if we are looking for wife-marriage the concerned house is 7H and karakas are Venus-Moon-Jupiter. As per BPHS fixed karaka of spouse 2H also, strong of Sun & Venus is Pitru Karaka and Moon & Mars is Matru karaka. This analogy is used in ‘shapa’ topic in BPHS. But here we will take Sun as karak of pitrus or lineal.

Saturn and Rahu are natural karaka of lamented soul causing sufferings.  Sun & 10HL when afflicted also became the karaka of lamented soul of ancestors-lineal is my personal view causing the curse primarily.

Rule-2

Above karakas, house or house lords should be afflicted by dire malefic [Saturn-Rahu-Mars] or is weak or debilitated or in Saturn amsha or conjoined by Rahu-Saturn in amsha [D9]

Rule-3

Above karakas, house or house lords should be afflicted by duha sthana i.e. 6-8-12 H/L; this may be counted from respective bhava also.

Lagna is seen for all general purpose events and may be considered;

Sun with Venus karaka of wife is afflicted by Sa-Ra in 5H being 8^th to 10H of father/lineal / ancestors. Mars 10HL is 12^th to it and Jupiter another karaka of marriage in malefic sign in 3H is 6^th to 10H. Saturn afflicting 10H; ancestor or lineal soul is lamented.

6HL Moon in nodal axis of 1-7H. Moon-7H is karaka of wife.

LL Saturn in 8H betwixt Mars-Ketu

See in D9 Moon-Venus-Sun-Jupiter are afflicted by Saturn-Rahu. And Sun-Venus in Saturn signs in D9 means in Saturn amsha.

Fact of the chart –

First marriage May-1979 wife died in January-1980

Second marriage May-1981 wife died February-2005

Third marriage 25-Sept-2006 [as i know and see there the least amicable – emotional relation]

Two sons

[Grahana Yoga is a factor here with different angle some look at it and the result is worst;; Grahana is seen if Ra/Ke in luminaries sign and Su/Mn is with Ra/Ke or Su-Mn conjoin or Su/Mn in nodal nakstra – arista chapter of BPHS]

5-11 H are afflicted by Sani-Rahu; 7H is by Sa-Ra-Ma being 10HL; Saturn is duhasthana lord and LL also with nodal affliction in 5H; this is major cause of pitru dosha; If we take Ketu as co-ruler of 10H the dosha/curse becomes more acute.

After 10-years of marriage the native is childless having all trial failure of IVP

Pitru dosha / shaapa affected the progeny issue here.

Sun [LL] – Saturn [7HL] in nodal axis in duha sthana 6/12H. 10H & 10HL Venus afflicted by Mars being 12^th to 10H and in D9 Venus debilitated. Jupiter in Saturn amsha as 5HL and 8HL and is aspeced by lamented ancestors and 8^th to Sun.  Saturn is 7HL in D9 in nodal axis. Moon as kraka of wife is afflicted by Sa-Ra  in 8H and in D9 in Saturn sign. See the acute power of pitru curse.

Affected houses are 5H & 7H; for 5H the signification word used is ‘राज्यापभ्रंश…. rājyāpabhraṃśa’ and in modern times it is fall of family, properties and business. Due to a mistress [6H & 12H, 8H sex scandal] he lost his court battle [6H] against his wife [7H] giving away all his properties & business for his children. His children and wife stand against him and never see this native then after. He lost everything and faces defamation in his society as well.

Remedy –

• Best remedy is shraddh karma

Abolishment of Paapa Karma & inauspicious death of departed soul.

Giving best refuge to Pitru Yoni & Rina Mukti

Destruction of Moha-udaasin etc state of departed soul [known as utsarga kriya]

PindDaana for eternal satisfaction

• Kanyadaana means to contribute in marriage of others as per your financial condition.
• Gaudaana – charity of cow; this has to be understood with literature meaning; this is metaphorical – symbolical and should be construed properly. You may feed the cow especially in summer, medications when in need, proper shelter, give love to them etc are some measures. And why cow you can do this to any animal suffering and need your devotional service to survive.
• Bhagwat saptaha parayna is the best for this; now a day’s Shiva Katha is also being done in pitrupaxa and its validation is not known to me.
• On Somwati Amavasya, when the Amavasya is falling on Monday, go to Pipal  i.e. fig- tree. Offer small / mental puja to fig-tree and lord Vishnu. Then do 108 Parikrama (move in circles around clockwise) of tree. While doing Parikrama, chant the mantra …

    ‘ॐ मोक्षदात्रे महाविष्ण्वे नमः…. oṃ mokṣadātre mahāviṣṇve namaḥ’’ and offer a sweet to the tree/lord  with each Parikrma. After finishing the       Parikrama, again pray to the Pipal tree and Lord Vishnu and ask forgiveness. Lastly pour water in the root. You may pour water-milk-      black sesame [til] and donate Bilvapatra at its roots.

 (This is best for Matru Shapa – opines many)

• On pitru occasions one may enchant pitru gayatri mantra or pitru strotra of Ruchi Prajapati. Pitru ccasions are amavasya, death day of father or forefather, shraddha / pitru paxa coming in Bhadra Masa, Kartika & Chaitra Masa. [Available on net easily]

If you wish you can do japa of nama-mantra also…” ऊं पितृभ्यो नमः … Oum Pitrubhyo namaha”

• To get blessings of all Pitrus, this method is extremely useful. Takea brand new Rudraksh Mala to perform this puja. Do not use a mala which was used to chant other mantras. Chant the following mantra for 11 malas daily during the Pitru Paksh. You may do this on PitruDosha nivarana yantra.

ॐ सर्वे पितृणां प्रं प्रशन्न भव ॐ…… oṃ sarve pitṛṇāṃ praṃ praśanna bhava oṃ……

• Take one normal Panch mukhi Rudraksh. Do 1,25,000 jaap of OM NAMAH SHIVAY mantra in 11or 21or 51 days started in auspicious occasion like ShivaRatri. Then wear the Rudraksh around the neck using black thread.
• One can do the japa-havan of the most afflicted planet involved in pitrudosha or donate such gem to the concerned god – goddesses.
• Render devotional service to aged people, crippled & retarded people, diseased people, and pupils in hostels and help people who are perplexed and could not find their ways. The list is limitless and you can find your way out to serve people.

Part – V

Serenity of pitrus

To be released from acute pitru dosha or shapa two things are must.

First correct your karma by devotional services to people in need.

Secondly try to get the serenity of the pitrus and god.

When you got this you can see the best change or good time in life. We can say we can experience the serenity of pitrus in the following way.

• We get sons and daughters
• We get sons and daughter with virtues and capacity to do good things for themselves & others, to do donations etc
• Our children have faith in themselves, in god and in scientific cultural values
• Unknown guests are always come to our house
• We have enough food and money, and we never have to face trouble in this regard.

With this serenity of our pitrus we get the followings.

By god grace we get chance to produce punya for us and so for our pitrus. Similarly we do benevolent things and take care of welfare of those depend on us. We do good karma which will traverse with us when our corporeal body vanish and micro body [lingdeha] try to get the best resting. Our body keeps healthy to do good karma and produce punya. And lastly we earn monies and wealth to secure the future without any disturbance and trouble.
