If Jupiter in 7th house in a horoscope, then such a native should not get married between 21 to 27 years. If such a marriage happens between these ages then the person faces difficulties in his marriage.

Hint: Jupiter placement alone in any house calls for a sacrifice with respect to the hose. Jupiter destroys at least one signification of the 6th and 10th from its placement. If Jupiter is placed in the 7th house then it can destroy the 12th (6th from 7th) or 4th (10th from 7th). The 12th house signifies pleasures in bed. 4th house signifies comfort. Destruction of either of these significations can make life miserable.

The reasoning I could work out (which I have shared in this thread early on) is:

If Jup is in 7H, kutumb sthan (2H) assumes 64th navamsha position and/or 8H from Jeev.
For a women’s chart this becomes 64th navamsha and/or 8H from Jup as a significator for the husband.
Also in 7H, Jup occupies a house of which Venus is karak and both are mutually inmical with marital sukh of 7H.
As per Bhrigu Saral Paddhati – Jupiter – influences and creates fluctuations in the house 10th and 6th from its placement. That would be 4H (grihasta/marital happiness) and 12H (bed pleasures).

Some Exception Rules contributed by Sanam Pathak

Exception:

if both husband and wife have Jupiter in 7H it get cancelled.
if Jupiter is not in sadastaka during superimposed of both chart or in 2-12 condition then this doesn’t give effect on marital life.
in either of chart, if Jupiter in in own sign or in exalted position then this rule will be rulled out.

Example 1: Male 16 Nov 1961; 23:15 hrs Delhi. Marriage in Feb 1985 (24th year). Cancer Lagna. Jupiter in 7H (with Sat and Ket). Native has had extra marital affairs and live-in relationship during married life openly and blatantly. His own married life has been turbulent due to this.

This lady who is facing a lot of marital difficulties, she got married in her 27th year.

Married first wife at age 22 (year 1973 in Rahu-Jupiter dasha) and divorced at age 26 (in 1977 in Rahu-Mercury dasha).

Remarried in 1984 and still happily married to second wife today.

Example 8:

This male native married in his 26th year; he left his wife and kids after 16 years of an acrimonious marriage and finally got legally divorced in 2010. His Jupiter is in the 7th in Libra. While it perfectly qualifies for the sutra in question, other factors are also at play like the 7H being hemmed between malefics like Rahu and Sat apart from that Sat aspecting the 7L Venus with its 10th aspect. Venus is also conjoined in the 5th with Mercury, which happens to be both 3L & 6L.
