The most misunderstood houses in the horoscopy are the houses 6th, 8th and 12th, generally recognized as. Dusthans or Trik houses. These houses, traditionally are attached with the undesirable things including everything bad in the life of a native. The theory of Aristas and Bhanga or cancellations of Rajayogas is also developed traditionally on the rocks of these houses, planets therein and their dispositors. The theory of Yogaheena or fruitless dashas is also not an exception to it. However, the readers, had already witnessed in a few last issues of TOA through the wonderful articulations from K.K. Pathak Ji under the caption “Evil Houses and Profession” how these evil houses generate the most desired results also sometimes in the field of shaping one’s profession or livelihood. In accidents and unnatural deaths also, the prime role is scripted for those houses only. The readers may benefit themselves through the views, findings and experiences of our both the esteemed authors, namely, Shri K.K. Pathak and Shri S.S. Chatterjee on this topic. However, I would like to share my experience with my readers.

These houses, I have found, do not give evil results in all walks of life. Sixth house is 9th from 10th and 10th from 9th. Hance it represents; the fate of all the actions or Karmas (10th) of this very incarnation. These results are realized by the native, good or bad, according to his Karmic agreements of Previous incarnations, with the people they meet in this incarnation/ life. We determine the next incarnation by 5th house (making 1 st house (present) 9th to it) and 6th being 2nd to 5th, the 6th house, therefore reconciles the Balance Sheet of this incarnation’s Karmas to be carried forward by the native to the next incarnation too. This analysis does not leave the scope for the matters, thus, to be attached to 6th house as only bad or evil. The significations of 6th house are reallsed in .positive or affirmative and gainful manners also in one’s life. Similar analysis can be made for 8th and 12th houses too, to realize what We are missing by believing and assigning only bad things to these houses.

Nevertheless, the Seers had attached evil things in one’s life to be seen through these house’s with specific purposes in their minds and schemes to make the natives good citizen ones. The natives are still requested to abide themselves by the law of the Nature. Today also, there is no denial that the genesis of problems, diseases, litigation, conflict of egos, struggle and impediments etc. in one’s life have to be seen from the 6th house. In fact, such things are found generated through 6th house, displayed through 8th house and liberate the Native through 12th house in the present incarnation.
