Introduction

There are a great many rules for a Bhava analyses, such as a planetary placement in a Bhava, its lord, karakas, Bhava lord position in divisional charts, Kartari yoga’s etc. However, there is a standard procedure that seems to be slightly neglected, even though it can be used as an important and reliable technique.

Place the Bhava under analyses as a Lagna and view planetary position as in Lagna Kundali.

Example 1: Rasi Chart;

This lady is a lawyer. We can see exalted Rahu in Lagna as 9th house lord courts/law). Rahu in 10th house in Rasi chart is favourable for material success. Lagna lord in this chart is mercury placed in 6th house litigations) under the full aspect of mars and Saturn placed in 9th house with a moon). Its dispositor is Ketu, a Graha that signifies a lawyer ( a headless Graha that always protects anti-social) Lord of 10th house in chart 2 is guru placed in 11th house. Thus we can see that chart 2 also indicates lawyer profession. In guru Mahadasa and Rahu Antara her rapid success started. If you look carefully, you may notice that each chart viewed from the 10th house indicates profession related to law.

Example 2 : Rasi chart ;

This is a clear cut case of Kala Sarpa Yoga, broken by guru, thus resulting in Maha Padma Yoga. This breakage occurs in the 5th house from Arudha Pada giving rise to Status. However, the results of Kala Sarpa Yoga are seen in life, as well as Chandala Yoga formed by Rahu/guru. All planets are placed from Ketu to Rahu, leading a person to a Bhoga Marga( a path of enjoyment). Now, let’s analyse 4th house chart.

We can see Venus placed in 4th house in Makar as natal ascendant lord and lord of 10th and 5th house. There are 4 Graha’s placed in 2nd house of wealth from the 4th house. Chandra is placed in 4th house as 7th house lord. Ketu is placed in 11th house in Vrischika. In Chandra Mahadasa, which is placed in 4th house of comforts, and Buddha Antara (ruling 9th house) he sold a flat and invested money in private business (construction). In Ketu Antara placed in 11th house the business started to expand, while in Venus Antara it has reached its peak. Now he owns a lot of immovable assets and has already constructed a several large buildings. We can see that Venus rules 10th house from 4th house, while Chandra rules 7th house from 4th house and is placed in its 4th.

Example 3 : Rasi chart ;

We can see mercury and sun placed in Lagna. Sun is lord of 10th house having Argala of guru, and Chandra. It gives immovable assets related to a career. Mercury is lord of 11th house and 8th house signifying gains and huge debts, transformations (8th house) Lords of Lagna in this chart are Mangal and Rahu. Mangal is placed in 9th house (afflicted by Rahu/Sani) while Ketu is placed in 3rd house in yuti with shani(4th and 3rd lord) Both Mangal and shani are placed in 6/12 houses from Lagna chart. Lords of 4th house in chart 2 are Rahu and shani, and both are afflicted. Venus is placed in 12th house in this chart. In mars Mahadasa , shani Antara and Venus Pratyantar she sold a house to repay her debts and her comforts went rapidly down.

Example 4: Rasi chart ;

Chart viewed from a 7th house is given below

Ketu is in Lagna ruling 2nd house, while its lord is Venus placed in 8th from it in own sign. Her husband is of ascetic/ strange nature, at the same time mild and kind represented by Venus. Venus position in 8th from 7th house gave her transformations and ups-downs in marriage, particularly in mars dasa where came a physical separation(not divorce). Note that mars rules 7th and 2nd house from 7th house and it is Maraka. Shani is in 10th house from 7th in yuti with Neecha Mangal. Sani is in the throne. The husband is a constructor engineer holding very influential post. In mars Mahadasa and Ketu Antara, a physical separation came. Both Graha’s rule 2nd house from 7th. In Rahu Mahadasa, guru Antara and Sukra Pratyantar, husband came back. Note that Rahu is in 7th house from 7th while guru has full drishti over it. Guru is placed in Ketu Nakshatra which is in Lagna.

Conclusion

Rasi or Lagna Kundali represents the reflection of the Atma in this material universe. The birth point symbolizes embodiment of macro cosmos in micro cosmos.

Consequently we may notice, that each house stands for certain areas in life. It is seemingly separated and independent in a chart. However, taken as a reference point for analyses, it gains unique support from other houses, confirming the initial reading. Thus all houses are connected in the chart, and follow unique pattern of the laws of Nature, coming to play out one’s karma and destiny.
