The Art of Matching Charts

Matching of charts for marriage is a very important area of astrology. Matching becomes indispensable if we realise that there are more factors than meet the eye that go to make a marriage not only happy but also lasting.
Matching is, as often wrongly understood, not the first stage of negotiating an alliance. It is reserved until all other considerations have been taken into account. When a prospective groom or bride is found unsuitable at the very first instance, there is no point in
commending the match on astrological grounds. For example, such unsuitability may arise out of a wide difference in academic qualification, physical appearance, cultural or economic backgrounds in which case there would be no point in studying the charts since common sense would warn against such a match. Sooner or later, in most cases, such differences surface bringing in an ever-widening gap between the two, making marital life meaningless.
