This technique has troubled this scribe for many years as we were unable to decode it. The technique that would be presented below has been tested on only few charts as people do not want to share their stories in detail and readers are welcome to test it though testing it is extremely difficult and one has to be lucky to get similar events. Also it is requested that readers may ignore it if they find it bordering on ‘Romantic Astrology’ / ‘Pseudo Creative’ Astrology / ‘Modification Astrology’ which are becoming popular today. This scribe is himself not sure if he had decoded the technique properly and would be indebted if readers send in examples of their experiences with it. If this technique is useless, then scribe requests pardon for wasting your 10 minutes of reading time.

There is this mythical story of Shri Ram from Indian Mythology where he was given exile for 14 years just when he was about to be crowned as the King. We would not go into details of his story and try to be brief considering that there are readers from western astrology too but this technique can be universal.

Technique

The house where Saturn sits, that house some event, will happen half way and then after 14 years it will give completion if person has learnt the lessons that Saturn intended to teach.
Sometimes the event after 14 years would be of the same event that happened 14 years earlier and sometimes it would not be connected at all but will have traits of the house where Saturn sits or the houses that Saturn lords in a horoscope.

Further Observations

It need not be 14 years; it can be 13 years or 15 years depending on the extra influence of other planets if they decide to intervene.
It is not easy at all to predict with this technique, this is just an observation of how a planet is behaving, even to test this method it’s not easy at all unless one has list of all events of a native and then one toothcombs and finds those two events which are roughly 14 years apart and having shade of giving similar house/lordship results.
With slight modification one can use this technique on charts where Saturn is direct but will not go into it here in order to keep this write up simple.

Chart 1: Shri Ram

This is the chart one is first taught when one learns Vedic Astrology; unfortunately it has been observed that this Vedic Tradition does not exist in the courses taught in India and abroad. The loss of not doing is so profound that it cannot be explained in words. Anyway let’s only take the Cancer Asc and Saturn’s placement as final, as there are various views from classical texts on placements of other planets. The other mistake being committed is people do not take Saturn as retrograde in this chart but it is supposed to be retrograde as it is opposite Sun.

It is Cancer Asc (natural 4H), so 4^th house issues is where the story will begin and will be the most important issues of life, this technique has been presented before in our publitorials. Now see Shri Ram’s 4^th house it has Saturn placed in it, Saturn indicates Step (it can be step brother, step mother etc) but it is placed in the 4H of mother so the story started with the step mothers intervention of not allowing him to be crowned as the King. Remember 4H is the house of Throne. Saturn is exalted so it means royal (exalted) servant (Saturn), and that is how his step mother got influenced, details of the story can be searched on Wikipedia.

Now as per the technique it says that retro Saturn where he sits, it will first not give the results and then will give it after 14 years. He was to sit on the throne (4H) and his step mother intervened and put him in exile to roam in forests for 14 years, after which he was allowed to be crowned as the King. During these 14 years many events happen and eventually the whole life story of Shri Ram happens within these 14 years which all Indians have read from childhood. One will note that Saturn is the 8L of inheritance sitting in the 4H of Throne, that is where the story of his life started and at the same time Saturn is the 7L of public platform, when a man becomes a king he comes on a public platform. These 2 things were denied to him for 14 years. Thus you can see that Saturn completed that event after 14 years of making the native toil and finish the unfinished Karma for what he was born for.

Chart 2: A Lady

Saturn is retro in the 8H of sex and sexual happiness; it is the 4L of virginity. In any chart you would notice that many events concerning a house happens and its next to impossible to determine which particular event had a half unfinished event 14 years back or even which particular event concerning that house has been repeated after 14 years, if at all you find it out by asking the native then you realize that probably Saturn was responsible for this.

This scribe encountered next the chart of this lady who got married in 2009 and as per later she said that was the first time she encountered sex. But what ticked in her chart was Saturn was retro so there is some unfinished business, so instantly scribe back calculated 14 years and asked her that in 1995 did she have her first love or relationship. Lady was stunned and said that’s the year she fell in love for the first time and had an affair. Scribe predicted that you did not have sex with that boy and you both might have wanted to do it but some discipline (Saturn) stopped it. She said yes she had a firm resolve that she would remain a virgin till her wedding night. So the event happened in 1995 and was denied by Saturn for 14 years until she got married in 2009.

Chart 3: Abernathy, Ralph

American Civil Rights Activist and founder of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1957. They advocated non-violence to gain civil rights for blacks throughout the early ’60s. He was jailed with King 17 times; given 20 days jail on 24^th June 68.

The above data is from Astro Data Bank and when this scribe read the part jailed, instantly it came to mind that his Saturn would be in the 12H of jail and something concerning hospitals or death would have happened around 14 years later, somewhere in June 1982 (if the above stated rules works) but it happened one year later that is after 15^th year.

In 1983 he suffered a mild stroke (Saturn’s 10^th aspect to Leo-heart) and had bypass surgery to relieve a blocked brain artery 9^th March 1983.

Both events, jailing and hospitalization is 12H matter where retro Saturn is sitting and this Saturn has given the same house(12H) results after 15 years.

Chart 4: Adamski, George

Polish-American author of “Flying Saucers Have Landed” and “Inside the Space Ships.” He became a pioneer and cult leader of the UFO culture with his claim that he met and conversed with a citizen from Venus on 20^th Nov 1952, 1:00 AM, Indigo, AZ.

Immediately on reading the above scribe felt something in the 8H would be activated and after constructing it was seen that retro Saturn is sitting in the 8H of occult and mysteries and death. Then mentally calculated 14 years from this event of 1952 would be 1966. He died on February 26, 1965 of a heart attack in Silver Spring, Maryland at age 73.

Note that Saturn sits in Leo (heart) and the incident happened in the 13^th year and not the 14^th year from the previous event but you can see that this Retro Saturn has given the same house (8H) results after nearly a gap of approx 14 years.

Chart 5: Late C S Patel, Indian Astrologer

He was considered a genius writer not indulging in Romantic or Modification Astrology, hall marked with trying to always prove that the ancient sages/writers works must not be ignored, he extolled the sages and not himself.

Retro Saturn sits in the 12H of Hospitals and Losses. Saturn is 8L of chronic events of life. 8L in the 12H indicates many things, many say a good thing but there are bad events too and one of them is some tragic event concerning some kind of loss.

Scribe had a list of 30 odd events of the above chart but picking the ones concerning 12H and also with a gap of 14 years was time consuming.

On 9^th Sept 1956 he suffered injuries in a major traffic accident. Note Saturn is in the 12H of hospitals, loss aspected by 6L of accidents Jupiter from Saturn’s house itself. Saturn sits in Gemini says it all.

14^th years later would be around 1970, his notes say that from 25th Nov 1969 to 12^th Feb 1970 he suffered great losses in speculation (stock market).

Thus you would observe that the 12H got activated 14^th years of gap.
