Predicting Through Chatursheeti Sama Dasha [English] [VP]

The Scheme According to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Chatursheeti Sama dasha will be applicable to all those horoscopes where tenth lord is placed in the tenth house. This is a conditional dasha unlike Vimshottari which is general dasha applicable to all the horoscopes without any condition. The method of its calculation has been given in Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. This method requires very simple exercise. Note down the birth nakshatra. Count the number of nakshatras from Swati to birth nakshatra and divide this number by 7 if it is more than 7. The remainder would indicate the dasha operative at birth.

Chatursheeti Sama dasha is a nakshatra dasha like other nakshatra dashas (Vimshottari, Yogini etc.) but the nakshatra lords under this scheme are different from the Vimshottari dasha scheme. Dasha periods are constant here in this scheme. Each dasha is of 12 years.
