Jaimini Sutram – Description

Jaimini Sutram, authored by Maharishi Jaimini, is a classical Sanskrit text that presents a unique and systematic framework of predictive astrology known as Jaimini Astrology or Jaimini Jyotisha. Unlike the more commonly followed Parashari system, Jaimini Sutras provide concise sutra-style aphorisms that focus on sign-based (Rāshi-based) techniques rather than planet-based (Graha-based) ones.

This ancient text introduces distinct concepts such as:

• Karaka System (Significator planets based on planetary degrees)

• Chara Dasha (Moveable or changing dashas based on Rāshis)

• Atmakaraka (The planet with the highest degree in a chart representing the soul)

• Argala, Rashi Drishti, Pada, and Bhava Arudha

• Advanced predictive tools for lifespan, career, marriage, children, spiritual progress, etc.
