The death of Caylee Anthony captivated the air waves of America for three years. Her mother Casey Anthony was accused of murdering her 2 year old daughter. With many obvious clues of her guilt because of no real evidence she was acquitted by the jury. Why has the public been obsessed with this particular case when there are so many other important events occurring world wide? Is this a distraction from the more sobering reality of world problems or is it about the injustice against an innocent child? I believe it is both!
People need a diversion and escape from their daily lives for entertainment but also need to feel a sense of purpose. This case, although very entertaining, moves people to express their sense of purpose through their sense of justice. This case involves all the intrigues of a mind-bending Sherlock Holmes murder story with the crazy turn of events and outrageous behavior. Who did it? Everyone loves a true life mystery and drama.
But on top of all the attributes of mystery and intrigue this case involves our most profound relationship in life – that of the mother and child relationship which gives our life a solid foundation and creates our sense of security. Revelations in this case also involves the neglect and abuse of every family dynamic with mother, daughter, father, and siblings. This case threatens the core of every family relationship, and arouses the public’s cry for justice and punishment. The most shocking crime ever conceived is the thought that a mother could hurt her own child. This is the reason why the case has stirred such media frenzy.
People have the inner need for justice and that truth and fairness will prevail, but when it doesn’t people become enraged. There is nothing more infuriating when someone seems to escape justice. We all believe they will get what is coming to them one day, and we all secretly hope they will suffer from their evil deeds. Isn’t this what karma is all about? But it is not our place to be the delegator of others karma because we don’t truly understand the big picture. God doesn’t have opinions or judge but only reacts as the natural flow of nature which is cause and effect that always over time creates balance. The world is full of horrific events that inflict suffering, but they are truly a means to create balance or healing, such as the storms and fires that destroy and cleanse for new birth. Harsh opinions, judgments, and condemnation only breed more events of dysfunction to be judged.
Dysfunction of mentally disturbed people eventually leads to recovery, maybe not in this lifetime but healing is always the end result of any problem no matter how extreme. Aside from the fact that we do need some kind of legal system that keeps order in our society, I think our issue to be learned from this dire and captivating case is our own need for justice that does involve our issues of judgment. We are meant to understand that our judgment and condemnation is what separates and destroys our world making it a world of right and wrong, separating ourselves from the mission on planet earth to find unity and healing not harsh judgment, righteousness and punishment. These are attributes of man, not God and nature.
Every world event is a reflection to some degree of our own stuff. There is nothing outside of you, it is all connected.
Casey Anthony’s Chart: Moon chart (uses the Moon as the ascendant when a birth time is not known).
Remember astrology is a tool for self-analysis to better understand ourselves to transform and change our lives.
In Casey Anthony’s chart we must take note of the Moon since it represents our mental and emotional health. Her Moon is in Gemini, Ardra’s nakshatra. Her Moon is opposed planets Mars and Neptune, plus Jupiter and Ketu simultaneously trine her Moon.
Neptune is the planet not associated of this world. Its keywords are deception, deceit, denial, and is called the great dissolver. It also reveals the heavenly aspects of the arts, beauty, and the mesmerizing effects of glamour, drugs, alcohol or anything that gives an escape from the pain and suffering of this world. It is spell binding. It has the effect of casting a spell on those who go through the transit of Neptune over any natal planet. When the transit has passed, it is like a reality check and you often wonder what possessed you. You may ask, “What on earth was I thinking.” Most importantly in this case Neptune’s rulership over water must be noted. Neptune is the god of the ocean and seas, and is associated with water and drowning. Neptune is very strong in both Casey and Caylee Anthony’s charts.
Mars conjunct Neptune is a mix of powerful imagination that could lead to delusion. With the natal aspect of Neptune conjunct Mars this magnifies delusional thoughts that one believes are absolutely real. Casey has Mars conjunct Neptune opposing her natal Moon reflecting her inability to see reality in her life and confirms her delusional nature. She honestly believes the delusions she imagines.
Casey’s Jupiter and Ketu aspect her Moon creating a grand trine in her chart. But don’t be too quick to analyze this combination because upon closer inspection these three planets are in nakshatras ruled by Rahu which magnifies these planets for extreme behavior and difficult life experiences. These three nakshatras (Shatabhishak, Ardra and Swati) are involved in deep healing and transformation that comes from loss and pain. These aspects connect these three planets as though they were all conjunct. Ketu with the Moon pertains to an unstable mind and Jupiter magnifies this extreme.
Her Ketu is in the 5th house which is the house of children. Wherever Ketu is in a chart will reveal our deepest karmic issues. The house in which Ketu resides becomes a vacuum for it becomes the void in a chart. This house and what it represents becomes overly activated because wherever there is an empty void we feel compelled to always fill that emptiness. It eats at us like a hunger which is never satisfied. The loss of her child will eat at her and cause mental unrest for a lifetime, for the 5th house also rules the mind. To intensify all this she has Pluto conjunct her Ketu in the 5th house. Pluto produces obsessive behavior and rules control, manipulation, and power. Pluto combined with Ketu in the 5th house of the mind and children indicate loss around children and her obsessions from a tormented mind.
Further points to her delusional nature concerning her mind and the deep issue involving her child is through her Mars and Neptune which are in the nakshatra Mula which is ruled by Ketu which is disposited in the 5th house. Mula is ruled by the goddess of destruction Nirriti which destroys illusion.
As Mars is the indicator of siblings in a chart whenever it is with Neptune, there is a severe misunderstanding with a sibling. Neptune prevents one from seeing clearly the issue that needs healing.
As Neptune and Mars oppose her Moon it also squares her Sun representing both the mother (Moon) and father (Sun). This reveals the dysfunction between her mother and father and their inability to understand and communicate with each other.
Transits (Missing Caylee) 06/16/2008
On the day Caylee went missing transiting Mars and Ketu were conjunct in Casey’s 2nd house of family matters. Transiting Mars aspects natal Mercury (8th aspect) ruler of her 4th and 1st house of family, mother and herself. Mars and Ketu are very violent together and cause great upsets in life. Also transiting Uranus was conjunct natal Mercury indicating sudden upsets. Her Mercury is the planet that is aspected by three powerful malefic transiting planets Mars, Ketu and Uranus. And because Mercury is the planet that rules her chart she was under dire and extreme planetary energy.
Also on that day transiting Sun was exactly opposed her natal Mars and transiting Pluto was exactly square her natal Sun. Pluto indicates powerful issues of control and manipulation and the transiting Sun triggers specific events down to the exact day of occurrence. Mars and the 6th house rules violence and accidents.
Transits (Verdict) 07/05/2011 14:17:30 Orlando, FL
The day of Casey’s verdict from the jury transiting Mars and Ketu were conjunct again in the sky as they were when Caylee went missing. Both Mars and Ketu fall in her 12th house of prison and self undoing representing her deep seated anguish over her past.
Transiting Mars is exactly opposed her natal Saturn ruler of the 8th (death) and 9th (law) houses. Her natal Saturn is in the 6th house of legal disputes. Her natal Uranus is conjunct natal Saturn in her 6th house of legal disputes. Uranus rules unexpected change and disruption. Notice transiting Rahu is exactly conjunct her natal Uranus, meaning abrupt and unforeseen changes occurring within this case.
Casey is not free, for the media will not leave this alone. She is in for the fight of her life and the legal battles will continue. Both transiting Mars and Ketu in the 12th house represent secret enemies which will come out of the woodwork to make sure she gets her just rewards according to their beliefs. Transiting Saturn is in exact aspect to natal Saturn further emphasizing that her troubles will continue.
Caylee Anthony’s Chart (Moon Chart)
The Moon represents the mother, security, mind and emotions. Looking at Caylee’s chart she has her Moon conjunct Jupiter and Ketu. Ketu with the Moon can indicate problems for the mother and Jupiter magnifies this instability. Since Jupiter rules the 4th house (mother, home and security) and is conjunct Ketu this doubly indicates dysfunction with the mother. Little Caylee has Mars, planet of violence, in Aries in the 8th house of death and length of life, which promotes death and a short life. Mars is in Ashwini ruled by Ketu further connecting her death to her mother, since Ketu is with her Moon/Jupiter. Her Mars also aspects her Saturn (4th aspect), Mercury and Sun. This further indicates more disruption and possible accidents. Natal Saturn also aspects her Moon, Jupiter and Ketu which signifies depressive complications with the mother.
Neptune, planet of mystery, deception, confusion, and denials is always an important variable when there is a life of unsolved mysteries. It is tightly opposed her natal Sun. The Sun rules the 12th house of hidden enemies and secrets. This reveals the confusion and lies that surround Caylee’s death. Sun opposed Neptune can specify lies that surround a life. Her Neptune is in the nakshatra Shravana ruled by the Moon, and her Moon, Jupiter and Ketu are in Hasta also ruled by the Moon. When planets are in the nakshatras that are ruled by the same planet they are always in a trine from one another (120 degrees). This means they are connected (meaning the trine aspect always connects planets). This further indicates the deceit, denial and delusions of the mother. Furthermore, Rahu and Ketu’s full aspects are a trine (this means planets in trine to Rahu and Ketu are like a conjunction) therefore her natal Neptune is aspected by Ketu bringing their forces together. This combination of energy causes confusion and delusion.
On the day of her disappearance, transiting Mar and Ketu were on little Caylee’s Sun which is also opposed her natal Neptune. This is an extremely dangerous aspect and can indicate a death especially since her natal Mars carries the energy of her 8th house of death. Caylee’s Sun rules the 12th house of secrets and hidden events and transiting Ketu and Mars conjunct the Sun indicator of the physical body indicates the loss of life. The Sun is in the water sign of Cancer and it is opposed by Neptune (god of the ocean and water). Neptune is often involved with death from drowning. I believe Caylee’s chart indicates she lost her life from drowning.
This very sad ending lies in the deceit that keeps the truth of what happened with Caylee’s death a mystery. I believe the truth and healing will emerge as we reflect on our own lives and attest to taking responsibility for our own truth within our families. Healing our own family issues will be reflected in the world consciousness through new public media events, for the media is always reflecting the issues we need to recognize within ourselves for growth and healing.
