Marriage can be defined as “The formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife.”

Male Horoscopy

1. In Natal horoscope of male, Venus signifies wife and if Venus is connected with Jupiter then it indicates an early marriage but
2. If Venus is connected with Saturn then it indicates delayed marriage and generally marriage takes place in the 2nd round of Saturn.
3. If there is no direct link of Venus, then link of dispositor should be considered.

Rule for probable period of Male’s marriage:

Connection between Natal Jupiter and transit Venus or transit Jupiter and Natal Venus. It is noticed that for timely marriage Natal Jupiter was in activation mode and for late marriage Natal Saturn was in activation mode 

Female Horoscopy

Important Combinations

Now I will discuss some important planetary combinations affecting married life.

1)       If Venus is connected with Rahu or Ketu, then male native and if Mars is connected with Rahu or Ketu, then female native will experience Obstacles in marriage, if married, then disputes. If Jupiter aspects, then there will be compromise.

2)       Combination of Venus-Saturn-Rahu or Venus-Saturn-Ketu in male horoscope and Mars-Saturn-Rahu or Mars-Saturn-Ketu in female horoscope will cause denial of marriage, if Jupiter aspects, effects will be minimized.

3)       Combination of Mars-Venus-Rahu indicates unhappy married life.

4)      Combination of Mars-Venus-Ketu indicates dispute between husband and wife, separation or Divorce. If Jupiter aspects, then there will be compromise.

5)       If Venus hemmed by Mars & Mercury then the native will have relationship with lover and husband.

6)      If Mars hemmed by Venus & Mercury then the native will have relationship with wife and another lady.

7)      Combination of Moon and Venus in female horoscope shows she will have sex before marriage. If Jupiter aspects, mental adultery only.

8)      Combination of Mars-Mercury-Ketu shows illicit Relationship of husband.

9)      Combination of Mercury-Venus-Ketu shows illicit Relationship of wife.

10)     Combination of Moon-Mercury-Venus indicates either male or female horoscopy; they are loose in character and can have sex with anybody if opportunity arises.

11)      Affair is possible if a combination of Mercury-Ketu is aspected by Jupiter in Male horoscope or Venus in female horoscope.

In this article I will use Directional Relationship of planets mentioned by R. G. Rao.

Main directions are East, South, West and North

In Nadi astrology it is important to remember the sign connections as per laws depicted in the chart below:

The main directions are East, South, West and North:

• East Signs: Aries, Leo & Sagittarius
• South Signs: Taurus, Virgo & Capricorn
• West Signs: Gemini, Libra & Aquarius
• North Signs: Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces

Readers should remember following points,

• Planets in one direction are connected with each other, suppose Mars is in 1^st Sign and Jupiter is in 5^th Sign then Mars and Jupiter are connected with each other being in the same direction i.e. Eastern direction.
• Planets of Eastern direction establish connection with opposite direction i.e. Western direction. And planets of Northern direction establish connection with opposite direction i.e. Southern direction and vice versa. (Very important point)
• Retrograde planet represents two directions, suppose a retro planet is in South direction then it will represent south direction and being retrograde it will represent Eastern direction too.

Now I will analyse one by one horoscopes using above Rules.

Case 1: Male

Pls note all transit charts the time taken is not the exact minute of the event, the diagrams are replications to match the natal asc.

In Natal chart

1)       A  combination of Venus-Saturn-Rahu is in the South direction suggesting denial of marriage but the effects of this combination has been minimized as Jupiter aspected this combination from North direction.

2)       Affair is possible because Jupiter from West direction is aspecting the combination of Mercury and Ketu in the East direction.

3)       Venus is in the South direction and it is aspected by Jupiter from North direction, indicates timely marriage.

This is a love marriage and native tied the wedding knot on 07^th Feb 2007 when the transit Jupiter was in the North direction connecting Natal Venus from South direction. Transit Venus and Natal retro Jupiter were in the West direction connecting each other.

Note in the above diagram planets in blue connect via opposite direction aspects, that is north vis-à-vis south and west vis-à-vis east viceversa.

Case 2: Male

In Natal chart

1)       Venus is in the South direction and it is aspected by Saturn from North direction (opposite directions), indicates late marriage because Venus has no direct connection with Jupiter.

2)       Affair is possible because Jupiter from East direction is aspecting the combination of Mercury and Ketu in the West direction (opposite directions).

3)       Venus is connected with Ketu in the South direction, shows native will experience obstacles in marriage, if married, disputes.

This is a love marriage and native went for court marriage on 24^th Oct 2004 when the transit Saturn was in the North direction connecting Natal Venus from South direction. (Being late marriage connection of transit Saturn is important.) Transit Jupiter and transit Venus were in the South direction connecting Natal Venus from the same direction. Due to the combination of Venus-Ketu in Natal chart, Married life is not smooth for this native.

Case 3: Female

In Natal chart

1)       Mars is in the West direction but not connected directly with Jupiter or Saturn but dispositor of Mars is Venus and it is connected with Jupiter and Saturn in the South direction.

2)       Mars is connected with Ketu in the West direction and dispositor of Mars i.e. Venus is also connected with Ketu in the South direction, shows native will experience disputes in married life.

3)       Affair is possible because Venus (Jeeva Karaka for female) is connected with Mercury and Ketu in the South direction.

4)      Venus from South direction is establishing connection with Moon in the North direction indicates loose character of the lady.

This lady tied wedding knot on 27^th May 1983 when transit Jupiter was in the North direction connecting Natal Venus (dispositor of Mars) in the South direction, and transit Mars was connecting Natal Jupiter in the same direction i.e. South direction.

Every now and then the disputes are noticed in her family life, because this lady is not happy with her husband and she is having illicit relationship with her colleague.

Case 4: Male

In Natal chart

1)       Venus is in the North direction and it is aspected by Saturn from South direction (opposite directions), indicates late marriage because Venus has no direct connection with Jupiter.

2)       Venus is connected with Rahu in the North direction; shows native will experience unhappiness and disputes in married life.

This native tied wedding knot on 24^th May 2011 when transit Saturn was in the South direction connecting Natal Venus in the North direction (Being late marriage connection of transit Saturn is important.) and transit Venus was in the East direction connecting Natal Jupiter and Saturn in the West direction (opposite directions.)When Rahu will transit over Cancer connecting Natal Rahu and Venus, native will experience lot of disturbances and disputes in his married life.

Case 5: Female

In Natal chart

1)       Mars (female) is in the West direction connecting Jupiter and Saturn in the East direction (opposite directions) so Marriage is possible for this native.

2)       Both Mars and Rahu are in the West direction indicating disputes and unhappiness in the married life.

This lady tied the wedding knot on 11^th May 2007 when transit retro Jupiter was in the West direction connecting Natal Mars in the same direction, and transit Mars was in the North direction connecting Natal Jupiter and Saturn in the South direction. (opposite directions) At present Rahu is transiting in the West direction connecting Natal Mars and Natal Rahu, creating problems in her married life.

Case 6: Female

In Natal chart

1)       Mars in the East direction is aspected by a combination of Saturn-Ketu from the West direction suggesting denial of marriage but the effects of this combination has been minimized as Jupiter is also in the East direction.

2)       Mars is in the East direction connecting Jupiter in the same direction, indicate timely marriage.

3)       Mars is with Rahu in the East direction shows obstacles and unhappiness in the married life.

This lady tied wedding knot on 26^th Mar 1942, when transit Mars and transit Jupiter  were in the South direction connecting Natal Jupiter in the same direction. Due to Mars-Rahu combination in the natal horoscope, it was unhappy married life for this lady, though not divorced stayed away from husband for many years.

In Nadi astrology two things are very important, first combination of planets and second transit of planets and with the help of these two things one can easily pinpoint the events.
