The concept of wealth and prosperity is associated with a person’s capacity to lead life gracefully, to earn a lot and save and accumulate the earnings in different shapes. Without earnings there cannot be any accumulation of wealth at all. However, sometimes it happens that the person is benefited by sheer luck without earnings or efforts of his own and he leads a prosperous and wealthy life despite the fact that either he is unable to earn or he is not willing to earn or he has no need to earn at all. But the fact remains that enjoyment is of the other person’s wealth which somebody has definitely earned and accumulated. If the wealth is not earned by himself and the beneficiary is a native, it is either a windfall to him by God’s grace or he is enjoying the fruits of his ancestors and relations by being simply in the position of enjoying the relationship only. This second category, where his ancestors and relatives have earned and accumulated the wealth but the fruits are enjoyed by the native, the native is rightly said to acquire the wealth and prosperity through inheritance.
In Astrology, the “11th house” is the house of earnings and fulfilment of desires. Unless a person desires to earn, he is not supposed to work for it and in turn he is not bestowed some good earnings to his satisfaction. Whatever he earns, the accumulation of the same is nothing but wealth in any form, may it be cash, jewellery and other valuables exchangeable with the cash and these things are considered from the “2nd house” in Astrology.
It is, therefore, amply clear why our seers had declared the 8th house for gains through inheritance as the 8th house is 1lth from the 10th, the house signifying father in the Horoscope and the l1th house becomes the 2nd from 10th, earmarking the accumulation of wealth by father. Thus, in this way, the wealth inherited from father through his earnings are considered from the houses 8th and l1th both in the Horoscope.
Similarly, if father has contributed nothing through his own earnings to the inherited wealth, then the 5th house is also to be considered alongwith the 8th and 11 th houses because 5th house becomes 11th from 7th house, signifying the grand father. This is the clue by which we can go on ascertaining from where the native has actually inherited.
In fact, the significator for both the houses, l1th and 2nd is none else than the most benefic planet Jupiter itself. Therefore, Jupiter has also very important role to play in acquisition of wealth, no matter whether it is through his own efforts of the native or it is through inheritance.
This arrangement was visualised by seers as is available in the classical Test-Books, when in normal circumstances everybody was supposed to adopt and profess the occupation and profession of his father.
No wonder this may be the sole reason that livelihood too of a person was directed to be determined from the same house which was considered signifying the father i.e. 10th house.
Now the circumstances have changed a lot and in the modern days women are also earning a lot and sharing the profits/losses equally in act of vocational ventures. Therefore, it is no longer sufficient to consider the ancestral inheritance through father only because the persons are inheriting the wealth from mother’s side also. The inheritance from mother’s side can be well judged from 2nd and 5th house of a Horoscope as these houses become 11th and 2nd houses from 4th, the house signifying Mother. In this way, we can go on considering the inheritance from any number of relations.
Now the most important question is that the ancestors or relatives may earn the enormous wealth but whether the Native is destined to receive such wealth or not?
It is, therefore, very necessary that the person who is supposed to inherit the wealth and property must have a very strong 11th house, 4th house, 1st house and 9th house along with their lords because unless he is lucky enough (9th house) no gains (11th house) can come to him (1st house) through which he can seek enjoyment (4th house).
Unless these four houses are very strong, the inheritance, even if it materialises, is not going to contribute something to his peace and harmony. This is why a few people are seen very much disturbed after inheriting a good amount of wealth and property.
Simultaneously, it has also to be seen whether this enjoyment is without transfer of the wealth and property from ancestors to the native or there is a transfer also.
Some people enjoy the fruits of inheritance but no title passes onto them for the property and the wealth. Therefore, apart from the above considerations it has further to be seen whether there is a loss of property and wealth to the person who has earned it and for that matter the 12th house to the earner i.e. father, mother, grandfather etc. is to be analysed carefully alongwith the analysis of the gains and enjoyments of the native.
8th house is 11th from father (10th house) and 6th house is 9th from father (10th house) but 12th from grand-father (7th house), 10th from 10th. Similarly 12th house is 9th from mother but 12th from maternal grand-father (1st house). To our mind, it appears that this may be one of the reasons why these three houses were found to constitute “VIPREET RAJ YOG” in a Horoscope according to “KALIDAS OF UTTARKALAMRIT”.
It is stated in our Shastras that the things are first developed in the COSMIC Field and only after that, these percolate down to the earth manifesting their work-force in different kinds of happenings.
This is our personal experience that even if the ancestors had not left any legacy in terms of matter, they shower their blessings from “PITRILOK” capable of bestowing any thing desired by the Native and therefore, it is found that whenever 6th, 8th and 12th houses are strong enough the native gets boost not only in his career but also he leads a very successful and meaningful life with the support of the blessings of his ancestors.
Apart from “KALIDAS OF UTTARKALAMRIT, RAMANUJACHARYA OF “BHAVARTH RATTANKAR” has established the planets posited in the 12th house, give rise to the fortune through their significators. This is also in consonance with our theory of inheritance in Astrology by which the correct analysis of the horoscopes is made.
Thus, one should not get frightened if one finds one’s 6th, 8th and 12th houses very strong and occupied by the planets. He should consult some deep sighted Astrologer to get optimum benefits of his potential inherited from his Ancestors.
