August initiates a revolution in energy with a massive change. The focus is the economy. We have all been anticipating a sudden fall of the financial markets. The next five months will be very difficult! I hate to sound so negative but there are always the greatest opportunities in a drastic change. Look forward to the new developments that come out of the immense shifts in energy. This transformation is inevitable and needed. This is not a breakdown, but a breakthrough.
For the last four months Venus has been full strength in Taurus and has added protection to the impending loss from Jupiter and Ketu. During this time the rich have gotten much richer and have gained more control. August 1st, Venus transits out of Taurus into Gemini, forming an opposition to Pluto and squaring Uranus exposing hidden political secrets. Venus in the sign of Gemini, ruled by Mercury, opens communications, and Mercury will turn direct on August 8th. This gives the green light to begin making plans for future projects.
Saturn will leave Virgo from the critical 29th degree and conjunct Mars on August 15th. The first two weeks of August, as Mars and Saturn close into a conjunction, are intense mounting in great pressure and explosions of anger. Both Mars and Saturn will converge into Libra at 0 degrees. Those who have planets in late Virgo or early Libra brace for unprovoked attacks. Once the air has cleared there will be peace and calm.
Venus is a focal point during this time for Saturn and Mars are in Libra and Jupiter and Ketu are in Taurus, both signs ruled by Venus. This surfaces the need for peace and compromise.
An important aspect of late August, Ketu will conjunct the previous solar eclipse degree (6 degrees) causing great loss in the financial markets and banks. Ketu is in the sign of Taurus ruling money and banks.
Neptune the planet of confusion, deceit and denial will be at the mid-point of Rahu and Ketu (7 degrees of Aquarius). This is called “the Bends” in Western astrology.
Rahu and Ketu represent the areas of focus and the most change. They give a feeling of destiny or fated events.
Rahu and Ketu in Scorpio and Taurus, with Neptune at the mid-point, indicate the denial and deceit surrounding the world’s economy will be revealed. Scorpio and Taurus rule banks, and the powers that control the financial markets.
Neptune is known to rule the oceans and seas. But actually it rules the forces of nature as in natural catastrophes. There will be forceful storms, hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis as Neptune pierces its trident into the earth.
Just to look ahead, mass confusion will happen on the day of the elections in America for Mercury turns retrograde that day, November 6th. Remember Mercury turned retrograde exactly on the day of the elections in 2004. There was a recount and controversy over the votes, and who really won the election between Bush and Kerry. Expect mass confusion once again, especially with the aspects of December 2012. Big transformations are due to come!
Excerpt from Transformation of Consciousness 2012 and Beyond from month of August:
- Ketu will cross the solar eclipse degree (6 degrees Taurus). Saturn enters Libra where it will remain for the next two years. Mars will join Saturn in Libra and forms a quincunx with Ketu and Jupiter. Contention in world group projects will cause setbacks and delays in global peace projects. Political leaders will be under fire and cannot compromise. A new world order is developing out of the turmoil. New infrastructures will begin to be built out of chaos. The economy will be at a low and fear overcomes mass consciousness.
Spiritual Insights
The focus of 2012 will revolve around money matters for the planets reveal many truths blatantly displayed for us to see. The astrological implications of these planetary combinations now reveal the global consciousness around money as well as our individual awareness concerning these personal issues.
The political elections involve the emotions around money and religion. Our beliefs can be seen through the perception of our political candidates as the people look towards the President to save the nation from so many potential crises. The usual conservative verses liberal is a part of the polarization of this election. Republican represents the rich, and democrat the poor. Anger is displayed in the masses as their emotional issues are confronted in their views of money, religion and the perceived morality of these candidates.
It is really our own individual concepts of money that we are facing currently. Money comes to some by hard work and ingenuity and others through family. Some find it so illusive that it can only be gotten through winning the lottery.
For certain, with large sums of money comes a great responsibility. Those with money are perceived as having the good easy life but nothing could be further from the truth. Droves of people are attracted to those who are successful and wealthy for always someone needs the money for their investments, donations or any worthy cause. Scammers and schemers seek out the wealthy – the more money, the more lawsuits. But the worse effect of money occurs in family inheritances and business. Consequently, money is the culprit of destroying most family relations especially when large sums of money are involved. People marry and divorce because of money, siblings become enemies with vengeance, children are disowned and friends become enemies. The best of relationships split due to unfairness perceived in the injustice around money.
What is this all about? It involves many beliefs imprinted in early childhood. The upbringing and the way money is perceived by the parents is a key issue. This has infiltrated down from religious beliefs, society, family and culture, but it boils down to our emotional judgment of ourselves. My newest quote is, “You can tell everything about a person by the way he spends his money.”
Money is called “the root of all evil,” and this statement seems appropriate with all the pain, separation and contention it seems to cause in lives and families. But of course, it isn’t the money that is the root cause of problems. It is the emotion we have concerning money. Money represents energy as it is used to exchange goods and services. The bottom line is that we cannot acquire money without a good understanding of our sense of worth, value and commitment to our following our path in life. The most successful people follow their path with commitment to their purpose. This gives a sense of self-worth and accomplishment, which brings wealth. But it involves unwavering work and persistence. This is the law of nature – what you put into life you will receive. Everything put forth with focus and effort leads to success, even though you may not see the results immediately. Many success stories have gone through ups and downs, and every experience is leading to a realization that all the experiences are making you what you are here to be. The apparent losses are a part of the experience you are here to gain through important insights that lead you to your highest goal. This will give you a sense of appreciation, respect, self-worth and the richness and wealth of a lifetime.
