Examination of Lines Between Right and Left Hands – A Study E.S. Krishnan

The comparison of left hand lines with right hand lines of a subject yields plenty of information if there are major changes in the lines. While comparing, the Mounts also should be taken into consideration. If the subject is a right hander, left hand will be passive hand. While the right hand should be considered as active.

We come to know his hobbies, his family life, some times the nature of death from his left hand. His job, his earnings, his marriage, etc from his right hand. By comparing with left hand we come to know his present circumstances favourable or otherwise.

If the subject is a left hander left hand will be active while the right hand passive.

The following illustrations are the hands of MK’s right and left hands. I could not obtain the print of his left hand because he is no more.

Why did the subconscious mind which draws the lines change the position of heart line in one of the hands? (Right Hand). Refer the subject’s hand given in the previous pages. Note the above one. Was it an indication for problem of relationship? Or was it an indication for showing some weakness of Heart.

Generally both problems are read from heart line also. What about his marriage? The head line turned heart line in his right is not clear and sharp. The change of position is also important. He did have some problem with his heart. He came to know about it when he was thirty years old. He contemplated going for surgery. But due to financial difficulties he ignored. However he was leading a normal life.

He developed himself mentally. The first phalang of the finger of Jupiter, the sweeping curve of head line in left hand – the double head line in the right hand –  these are the indications to show that he was more interested in the intellectual development than physical. He studied astrology with great interest. His predictions were marvellous.

Why did he remain a bachelor?

The change in the position of heart line was the main indication. He utilized heart line as a head line. The venus Mount – one of the indications of for family life was flat. This shows less interest in family life. Even with the problem of Heart he would have got married. The surgeon said so. Surgery was a matter of precaution. The semi–circular curve of Life line was lacking probably because the Venus Mount was flat. That would have assured him a better health.

His interest in Astrology and Art is indicated in his left hand, head line going towards the mount of Moon. He was a drawing teacher and did nail drawings with his left hand thumb. Mount of Moon deals with the occult and it is the source of imagination. He was able to write articles though he was not well qualified.

The difference between left hand and right hand shows the sub – conscious mind corrects itself. If we are in a position to understand what the sub conscious mind says we will be benefited.

As a research student of Palmistry I honestly believe that Mr. K would have married and lead a normal life without ups and downs had he been a left hander. The practice of left hand should start from childhood.

Suppose he was a left hander, the heart line was normal. The head line was excellent. The breaks in the life line could have been ‘lucky breaks’ instead of showing ill health. The subconscious would have to reverse its decision at least partially.
