Vinayak Bhatt’s Easy Predictive Astrology
About The Book
The basic planetary blueprint determines the drive and attitude of the native towards life, thus, understanding the basic astrological components becomes imperative for an appropriate interpretation.
Maharishi Parashar who offered us a wealth of celestial instructions in the form of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, also gave us infinitely more beneficial rules that come in handy in understanding how an individual can unwind their karma while fulfilling their duties in the most authentic way possible. The readers can make use of Chapter 5, Parashar’s 3 Important Rules for Prediction which I am certain will inspire further thought and reflection on the interpretation of horoscopes.
Every aspect of a horoscope can only be fully interpreted in the light of the entire horoscope. Dasha and Gochar jointly play a catalyzing role in one’s chart, giving flavor to the outcomes. The level of awareness is sometimes prone to be clouded by the limited tools available in our astrological arsenal, to tackle the same, I have covered Bhrighu Chakra Paddathi (BCP) in Chapter 6 as an alternative method for predicting events. The book provides in-depth knowledge and practical application of karaktatwas.
My suggestion to the readers is to steer clear of rigid interpretations and ‘cookbook’ frameworks which have their limitations as the parameters cannot be fixed in this amorphous science of astrology that inspires greater awareness and fulfillment, rather ironically so.

Preface
The relationship between the houses and the planets forms the basic building blocks that further carve the foundation for every student of astrology that he must learn at the outset of his astrological journey. The same is the case with planets, which constitute the basics of astrology in unison with houses and signs – the interplay of the three characterizes the energy flow that an astrologer must pick up in order to make accurate predictions. Seemingly simple, the basics are the most worthy of an in-depth inspection.
Everyone born on a particular day will have the same planetary placements but to deduce the exclusive results and events that will take place in harmony with an individual’s karma and destiny requires extensive interpretation and deep analysis that is usually absent in most of the astrological literature available to us.
We have plenty of astrological interpretations available to us. I have found in my own experience, however, that, prognosticative writings in astrology monopolize the market. and the subtleties are often disregarded, even unconsciously at times. In-depth perusal of astrological sciences is imperative as genuine authority cannot be forged.
I am therefore delighted to be able to write a preface to a book that I feel reaches close to filling up the unfortunate gap and makes this divine knowledge more accessible and comprehensible.
Introduction
The horoscope is an amalgamation of planets, signs, and houses that characterize the basic urges and motivations of an individual. The basic planetary blueprint determines the drive and attitude of the native towards life, thus, understanding the basic astrological components becomes imperative for an appropriate interpretation.
We often say that ‘nothing is written in stone’, true, but in astrology, certain parameters are, however, written in stone and rather abidingly so. These fixed parameters, which form the first chapter of the book, are to be flexibly employed to ascertain what is happening, how it is happening, and where it is happening. The interplay of the aforesaid basic ingredients will lead the way to finding answers to these questions.
A planet is invariably producing results pertaining to its natural significations (karaka) for instance, Sun governs, Moon empathises, Mars contends, Mercury multiplies, Jupiter enlarges, Venus beautifies, Saturn delays, Rahu amplifies, and Ketu mystifies. These are the inherent qualities of the planets, not the only ones, but we can use this example to understand that the houses, signs, and planets carry their intrinsic essence that shows up in different areas of life in a different fashion.
