Recently it has come to the attention of Saptarishis Astrology Group that some individuals are teaching/selling Bhrigu Saral Padhdhati, Bhrigu Chakra Padhdhati and other predictive methods published in the Saptarishis Astrology free magazine. Some such individuals have been disowned by other reputed astrologers for their personal misdealings. In this scenario, Saptarishis Astrology would like to grab the attention of the readers on the stance taken by them.

This issues topic for Saptarishis Gurukul would be analyzing the verses of a modern day classic called Jataka Tatva – Elements of Nativity, crudely translated. This work is in sutra form, crisp and has some unique features. It has no need of comments, its worth and uniqueness is well known in the scholarly circles of Banaras. This book is very use full for research. It is probably the only classic in modern times which has a blend of Parashari and Jaimini principles showing that both are in a way one and the same. Some of the principles in its sutras are too unique and cannot be found anywhere.
One of the most interesting and special astrological aspect in Western astrology is known under the name of septile – the angle of 51 degrees. It is very few used in astrological readings and my personal opinion is that the astrologer has to have a real spiritual dimension or path, consciously assumed, for using it in his/her profession.
The phylosophical background
The aspect of septile corresponds to the number 7 and, automatically, to the 7th harmonics which comes from the division of the zodiacal cyrcle in 7 equal parts. Along the history of mankind, the number 7 was associated with the sacred dimension of existence and with the Divine Creation. The Numerology considers it as being a deeply occult number, corresponding to the self-knowledge, introspection, wisdom and the highest signification of the life. It is the number of meditation, comtemplation, spiritual retreat. It seems to comtain the most elevated essences of Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. From all these points of view, 7 tends to be isolated, very distand and from another world.
Astronomically, the equinoxes are the places in which the apparently route of the Sun, named ecliptic, cuts the celestial equator, and the solstices are the maximum and the minimim distance of the Sun towards it.
The intersections between the ecliptic and the celestian equator in March and September are the vernal point or the first degree in Aries (when the Sun passes from the southern to the northern latitude of the celestian sphere) and, respectively, the autumnal point or the first degree in Libra (when the Sun passes from the northern to the southern latitude of the celestial sphere). They are the Spring and the Autum equinoxes. Their common feature is the equality between the lengh of the day and night.

The word Bhagyodaya is a very unique word in the Hindu Astrology. It refers to the time when the happiness in the life is achieved. It is a time in the life of a native when he has a great leap in his progress and enjoys the happiness of the life. Remember, it is not only the wealth, but some sort of satisfaction of desire is achieved which gives the long lasting betterment effect in the path of life.

Yenbeeyes hails from a Tamil family wherein he learnt astrology from his grandfather who knew the entire BPHS by heart. He was first asked to learn by heart the Sanskrit verses of BPHS & then was slowly taught astrology by his grandfather who was his Guru. After 3 years of teaching only BPHS he was then taught Jaimini Sutras by the age of 23. Yenbeeyes is our author’s pen name and he, having retired in 2007, has taken up to the cause of astrology full time and is currently translating Jaimini Sutras into Tamil. Saptarishis Astrology has observed that Shri Yenbeeyes pursues this science with an unmatched discipline and dedication which is praiseworthy.
The credit of inspiring scribe to learn about D-60 goes to 3 lines from Shri K.N. Rao in an email reply dated Sept/Oct 04 (reproduced below) – we worked on it and established more than 20 techniques of D-60. His mail confirmed what we had understood in BPHS & confirmed our belief in Parasara. Then, in March/April 2005, when a young astrologer by the name of PVR Narasimha Rao had entered in the territory of K.N Rao’s Jyotish Group and gave an analysis of past life via D 60, then as a response K. N. Rao revealed in the Jyotish Group list to P. V. R. Narasimha Rao & all what Parasara has said on D-60: that it is not a chart for past life as was the misconception of the parampara knowledge of Narasimha. This opened the eyes of many though anyone who has read BPHS knew it or just did not understand it.
Ganesh Worship in Skanda Purana
Puranas are one of the holy texts of India which can be a great tool for learning. When the Sagar Manthan (churning of the Ocean) was being done & Halal-laid (poison) emanated out, surds asuras (sods & demons) requested Lord Shiva to explain how this poison which was destroying the universe came about in the first place. Lord Shiva says in Chapter 9 Shloka 70-75.
